Recently, Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has signed the contract with Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited for Design, Manufacturing, Supply, Testing, Commissioning and Training of 30 standard gauge cars for the Ahmedabad Metro Rail. The order value for this project is approximately Rs 350 crores. The prototype to be built in 70 weeks and contract to be delivered in 94 weeks.
